SYMPOSIA

F. General Materials Science

F.9 Advances In Functional Semiconducting Materials

The symposium is dedicated to recent advances and innovative researches on semiconducting (SC) materials including functional architectures fundamental understanding of phenomena, experimental realization of structures to applications in workable devices. The contributions aim to discuss synthesis methods, characterizations, theoretical and numerical simulations approaches as well as device realization with performances testing and improvements for new technologies. The emphasis of this symposium will lie on the various growth techniques and key properties as structural, electronic, photonic, thermal, magnetic for inorganic or organic semiconductors, oxide SC, hybrid SC, magnetic SC, ferroelectric SC, low temperature SC, layered SC, microscopy of SC materials and advanced packaging materials, etc. A coordinated effort will be made to have a strong interaction between semiconducting materials and device research communities.
