Fundamentals of carbon based electrochemical capacitors


The tutorial will cover three main sections related with carbon materials and their application as electrodes in electrochemical capacitors. The first part will provide the necessary knowledge for students or researchers starting research on electrochemical capacitors (ECs), the second part will cover the general properties of carbon materials for ECs, and the third part will cover recent results on new materials and concepts for ECs using aqueous or organic electrolytes.
